The Hip is GHQ. I don't normally model them with the etched brass rotor blades but this will be a terrain feature not a playing piece.

Commander Tegwen smiled. The rainy season was over and the battle season was beginning. This time his West African Youth Liberation were confident that that the Peoples Republic Of Freedom would be crushed. The smlle turned cruel as Tegwen contemplated the fate of his nemesis General Ovlov.

This week Tegwen was personally leading half of all hi sforces to take control of the refugee camp. He hoped those damned peacekeepers wouldn't be there in strength this time.

Most of the rest of WAYL were under a trusted lieutenant aming to seize the town. Apart from a reconaisance force headed for the religious shrine he was taking no action against the mine, the factory or the airport. They could wait for later in the campaign.

Tegwen and Ovlov came round to mine this weekend and playtested my mapless campaign rules. It was a great success. Now I just need to get them typed up.

General Ovlov was still reeling from the drubbing he got last month from Tegwen when the reports came in. A new faction, the Backander Organised People's Movement was making a move on his territory. Who on earth was this Jo-Jo character?
Never mind, perhaps he's a worse leader than Tegwen.

All very nice! I especially like the ships, impressive wake effects.

I believe he was a man who thought he was a loner, but - knowing it wouldn't last - decided to vacate his original home in Tucson, Arizona and buy some lush grazing land in California.

Now sweet Loretta Martin was a very different kettle of fish.....
