Yes. This. Or to sum it up in one word, big.grizzlymc wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 5:49 am It is because from the Jungles of equatorial Essex to the empty desert sands some part of Essex is always bathed in sunlight. From its vast polar wastes to the mighty wildebeest populated savannahs a man might trek half a lifetime and never return to the same point. And, in the mighty cordillera where 200kph winds howl around the mountains and in summer the snow falls 2m thick or more, still a man cannot view the sea.

I'll have you know Squire Peeler employs people to buy a round for him.

When you say ‘employ’, you really mean ‘intimidate until they do’?

Yes. I was just worried he might have employed other people to read the messages on here and report their contents to him.

I thought the Forge was the original Doom Bar.
Re: The other ShedCon, 10th November 2018
Since there's 7 of us to eat on Saturday, I plan to book a table at the Turkish restaurant for about 7pm. We can then go to a local hostelry for some beer - lager only, I think, in the restaurant, albeit quite nice Efes, but good grub. If that really doesn't suit, shout asap. Caroline has volunteered to drive those of us not staying in town on Saturday night
Friday we'll play by ear - probably a curry followed by beer, although depending on what Caroline's doing I may drive so it could be a quiet night (for me at least).
10am start on Saturday - I'll sort lunch, biccies, cake, tea etc.

Why us? Cos we're 'ere lad, nobody else.
