Re: What are people buying?
A good day at Battleground. Report here: http://blog.belisarius.org.uk/2018/11/b ... -show.html
My haul:
Lots of Dark Age bits bought via assorted sales and bargain boxes. Some ammo wagons for my C18th stuff along with a nice ADC, and some paints... NB Only ONE blue there!
The AWI books are on loan from GM and the little tub is full of Spencer Smith FPW Bavarians to add to the Shinification. And the white envelope is another paint rack from Warbases which means I now have to totally reorganise my table to fit it on!
Good to see everyone though. And nice to see Peeler finally make it on the correct day...

I nearly bought the same French anti-tank gun as Norman but decided I'd bought enough after a very good value Republican Roman army from Newline. 3 x 24 units for less than £50!

Re: What are people buying?
I bought Limbers and horses from Newline to use with my classic Napoleonics. I also got some British Lifeguard command which I plan to use with Hinton Hunt horses.
I enjoyed the show and thought it was busy with a good vibe.

My wife chose the chairs. And the material. She may be coming for the Saturday at York in Feb. I may let her read this...
