Had a quick fly by. Said hello to the peeps on the DBN table and Leon, picked up a Christmas present for myself and a Table sale bargain before disappearing into the night like an (un)caped crusader.

Wow - I don't think I could have held my breath for that long. Or was this before Peeler arrived?

Had a corking day, despite having to get up at six o'bastard clock. We rolled in before the tea & butties were ready, set up the Waterloo game, said hello to Leon. Overall, I thought the show looked good - plenty of traders, a good B&B, and the games were of a good standard, varied & interesting. We ran a few partial DBN games, like d'Erlons attack & Huogomont, those taking part enjoyed them & some even bought rulesets too. Good to see & natter with several Law chaps too. Apart from two sausage rolls, one bacon bun, several teas & a pie supper on the way home, I spent merely £1 on a copy of Airfix ECW book, wanted one for a while. All in all, a grand day out, well done Leon. 👍

No in the end I didn’t. I had a load arrive in the post the other day and decided that I need to get them done before I indulge in more.
