My first car was a Vanden Plas 1300 auto. A well posh Austin 1300. It was battleship grey, I've just realised that I've preferred that colour ever since, without realising why. I've got my Mondeo - a grey one, just last Friday the wife swapped her BMW1 thing for a Hyundai ix35, in silver. We thought we'd best move away from these European type motors. 😏

Not being allowed to drive one I agree! I only ever had one car when my eyes worked properly, a Ford Anglia 105e which I intended to paint yellow with flames over the wheel arches like Vivian in The Young Ones.
