Fire and Fury are my favourite set of rules. Certainly the ones I’ve used the most. Do the labels green to match the bases, cream lettering and a little Blu-Tac to hold them to the base and job’s a good ‘un.
Was thinking of developing 10mm Italian Unification armies for them but thinking on the 1688 possibilities I wonder if a variation of F&F might work for that?

I'm thinking pre-printed brigade stats on laminated cards that slot into the base behind the brigade command stand. Age of Honour is a BF&F variant which claims to cover 1700 onward. I've played them. I wasn't overly impressed, but that may just be due to my inexperience. I have the PDF if you're interested. I'm sure them can be tweaked to cope with a higher ratio of pikes and matchlocks. There's something on TMP about there being an ECW variant in Arquebusier a while back.

Andy’s way of doing the bases was very practical and unobtrusive. I generally don’t like the aesthetics of big labels for units. One of the reasons I cooled on Rommel.
