What are people buying?
Re: What are people buying?
I randomly bought a windmill in the early hours because I don’t have enough unfinished terrain projects on the go.

77 was a classic year for us military models. The thrill of the great "Tone Down" campaign where everything went green. RAF firemen sporting olive green string vests, aircrew in OG long John's. For a while they had OG flying gloves until they found that they couldn't see what buttons they were pressing at night.
We even paid a Dutch company to spray the runways so that the Russkies couldn't find them.

Probably best to gloss over (see what I did there?) the string vests; I certainly never knew Old Glory made long johns and flying gloves - certainly explains the "knees bent, running about" and "Hi, Steve!" poses so prevalent in their ranges.Buff Orpington wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 9:17 am RAF firemen sporting olive green string vests, aircrew in OG long John's.
