That is a good point Mr D, should heavy cavalry not get you more points than light?

No way, Hussars for example should be much more due to intricacy!

I make the same point every year. How many Numidian light horse can you bang out in the time it takes to paint a single Hussar?

Here's the Union XI Corps for Gettysburg in 10mm: 6x infantry units with a total of 129 foot figures, 7x foot figure markers, 5x guns, 5x four-horse limbers and 10x generals and flunkies, for a total of 432 points:

Just about to finish off a unit of SYW Prussian dragoons for my 28mm Minden forces. Pretty pink facings. Only 6 more units to go to get it up to the nice round 100.

Six days' work, - one infantry division of two brigades per day, then a day for the artillery, a day for the generals and a day's initial prep. The sodding Rebs take three times as long to paint.
