That's advanced painting, you use two techniques at once! To be honest there is nothing wrong with the painting, I just expected more of a book being touted as the definitive volume on the subject. Looking at pretty much all of the gorgeous painting on this site rather skews ones view I suppose

I laugh at your Dremel/fake Dremel clique. I have a proper Minicraft set up (two transformers, two drills and a bench grinder). Proper German engineering.

Bought it all just before they went tits up.

(Note - we’ll have to think of a name for ourselves.)

Let us be happy in our foolish delusion that we can make a hole in 2mm MDF for less than £80.
Crazy, I know.
Yes we need to turn the name into something snappier just like the LaW or Jeremy's BUM. Not sure what we can do with D. I. C. K. S.
I am not suggesting that any form of rotary power tool should contact the BUM, you've done A&E duty so you know how that would end.
I know when to go out
I know when to stay in
Get things done

I’ll have you know I had to Dremel out a hand so I could fit a standard in my BUM. Clean job it did. Right through too. First push.

I'd go with Sudan and 15mm. Oh wait, I already have. Explains my bias.

I've always wanted to dabble as a manufacturer so am seriously considering the 10mm route. I had been trying to get hold of a late C19th range in 28mm that has gone dormant but the owner has sunk without trace.
