Just bought a copy of Frostgrave. Don't ask. It was a bargain...you know how it is....

Interestingly the old Minifigs shop was based in the heart of Southamptons red light district.goat major wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 10:38 am actually i always found the Minifigs adverts very exciting indeed.

The Frostgrave rules are a bargain. The 63 buildings you’ll need to play may be more time and cost consuming

I will be setting mine in the vast empty plains of Northern Essex....
Re: What are people buying?
Oh for goodness sake. The vast empty planes are in central Essex. The Essex Alps are to the north, keeping out them Suffolk and Norfolk weirdos.Count Belisarius wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 2:36 pm I will be setting mine in the vast empty plains of Northern Essex....
I shall be getting a copy of Frostgrave.......if I haven't already got a copy. I blame Henry for this, and Simon and Dave, a bit.

Frostgrave is great, especially if you have a box of lego, easy ruins from that point.

It can lead to an obsession with Hirst Arts moulds. One of my regular opponents has a phenomenal collection. While you only need 10-12 figures for your band you will want lots of random monsters or just proxy skeletons for everything you haven't already got.

I'm going to do it more Dark Age themed I think. May look for some suitable magic type figures...
