However you do it you need plenty of terrain just to bugger up the missile troops and line of sight spells.

I’ve toyed with the idea a lot as I enjoyed my games with GM. Just don’t want to get stuck making lots of terrain. I did have thoughts about how easy it could be turned into a more modern or even sci fi theme with the mages becoming Psychers or something like that.

The thing about Frostgrave is the multi-level play. You have to be able to simulate it somehow. I haven’t quite figured out how without building tons of terrain
