Purps' heroic efforts are primarily intended to save us from using Peeler's bedsheets, which have previously suffered from said not-washing. I think one snapped last year.

Kein Plan überlebt den ersten Kontakt mit den Würfeln. (No plan survives the first contact with the dice.)

Re: What are people buying?
Thanks to whoever gave the tip off on Boyes' sale I popped in this week and bought 20 tins of Humbrol at £1.50 each.
Why so many ? I hate the new formula (identified by shiny metal lid with paper stuck in) so I went through the whole rack picking out the tins with the old coloured, embossed lids.

Any Humbrol 111 Uniform Grey/Field Grey? I'll take as many tins as you can get!Wg Cdr Luddite wrote: ↑Thu Feb 14, 2019 10:49 pm Thanks to whoever gave the tip off on Boyes' sale I popped in this week and bought 20 tins of Humbrol at £1.50 each.

They're going for the retro look as the old Authenticolour range used to have the same arrangement. The couple of 'new formulation' tins I've used have been ok, but I've got a lot of old stock to use too.Wg Cdr Luddite wrote: ↑Thu Feb 14, 2019 10:49 pm ... Took advantage of the Foundry sale to grab some character figures and charismatic megafauna for Congo/DA. First figure purchase of the year.

If I get a chance I nip down to my local Boyes and see if they have any.
