There’s also Simon Millers version for To the Strongest. For King and Parliament. From what I’ve seen, it looks quite good

you mean its down to us to repel the Saxon hordes ? how reassuring.

TSS is excellent and i guess the ECW version is good too. I don't like playing cards on the table but other than that i really like it. I suspect some may disagree though. I'd guess that P&S is a better common denominator for a LAW game

What I really like about tss is the speed it plays at, with no measuring or millimetre discussions on flank hitting etc, you feel in command. And the fact you can base how you like helps.
