He's out raging, you know what these Essex people are like, a couple of litres of alcopop and a decent shot of ecstacy, he'll be raging till dawn.

I think I have a couple spare. They're yours.

Just bought Rebels & Patriots, today could be quite a spendy day for me. Not "Purps hits Foundry" spendy but still.

Really?! That was just a long shot! I didn’t even realise you dabbled or were you proxying for hessians?
I’m rebasing all my figures on steel and trying to get musicians and sergeants and things on separate vignette bases.
Long story shortish, one grenadier Battalion comes up two men short and if I buy another pack, I’ll then have six extra which I’ll then end up starting another unit and then another and then another and before you know it I’ll have 19 battalions of Prussian Grenadiers!

They were from a "remainder bin" on Dave Thomas's stand at Partizan a few years back (when it was still at Kelham Hall). I just picked out the "characters" and command figures - mainly sergeants - to add some variety to my Perry AWI Hessians, as you correctly surmised.

Well if you have a couple of Rank and file Grenadiers let me know.

Re: What are people buying?
Clearly, the right answer is SYW.
I think I'll attempt a couple brigade/division sized forces at 1:5. A vignette of a section of Zorndorf, so I can include some hordes of cossacks. The 6mm figures are so small, they'll practically paint themselves, right? And it's too late to change my mind, I've already placed the order...
