Use whatever you want Gary. Its only old school in approach i.e. hyboria style. Old figures, new figures, shiny matt. Doesnt matter

I've been checking out Rules for this and there are surprisingly few that are suitable. I have a few ideas, some of which are even game related, which may come to fruition.

Really? I'm not sure what copies i've got, but it's at least one of 1.0 and one of 1.5....not 2.0 no one buys 2.0!

Saw copies of 1.5 for anything between £24 and £37.50

Tim kindly sent me a copy of WAB and I've got a REpublican Roman army sat waiting to be started. Like the Goat, I'll base individual and use trays as I would want to do something Lion Romanty at some point.

Did anyone see Bob's Roman Dragon Rampant at Vappa? There was also a very nice looking WAB Punic War game at Leeds last year, which is what pushed me to plunge into Ancients.

I did Tim, it was very nice!

I’m basing in 4’s on 40mmx40mm. I want to use them for To the Strongest and Hail Caesar.

I have some Romans I’ll base individually for skirmish, I dare say I’ll have tons of spare Gauls too

Hmmmm, if it’s a Hyborian stylee with no objection to Matt/New I could go on the Kanban with Ancient German and Early Imperial Roman🤔. Or Egyptian, is Egyptian good? 😺
