Re: The Pointy Stick thread
You only need 100 figures in a Pike army
Re: The Pointy Stick thread
100 figures, ok, that’s way less than I thought! That should be dead easy. I’m a quarter of the way there already!

Re: The Pointy Stick thread
well maybe more. or less. i dont know! Ive got about 300 figures in various stages of dettol. But there'll come a point where i need to pause painting them and do some fantasy goblinoid tribes. as you do. So i'll maybe do 4 units of hoplites and some skirmishers as a starting point.
Re: The Pointy Stick thread
I suppose if you do 24 man infantry units/12 man cavalry units, 100 or so figures is a decent 4 to 6 units plus skirmishers.

Are we, dare I say it, playing points? It would stop the arms race. For now.

Re: The Pointy Stick thread
I am viewing this as a shared idea, to help get us painting things we have or want, and a possibility to make use of them in the end.
