Re: Salute
I do miss the old days and atmosphere of Kensington Town Hall, just as I miss the Hexagon at Reading, but times change.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

Unlike Grizz's underpants.

They don't get changed, they get condemned by the PNG Health Commission.

Another excellent collection of show photos, a mere 250!

Re: Salute
I changed my underpants in January, when I washed my face. You lot are so condemnatory.
Re: Salute
I’m more worried if he washed his face with said underpants.

Well, you wouldn't want to get the clean underpants dirty before putting them on.

Re: Salute
Looking at Henry's pics from Salute I'd say the average age seems a little lower than normal for wargames shows. The small LAW turnout probably helped with this.
Re: Salute
I went to the first one at Excel and was so severely underwhelmed that I have never been back. I used to like Olympia -despite the bl**dy Underground engineerings on the line- and thoroughly enjoyed Kensington Town Hall and also Derby at the Uni. Both Excel and Derby are now on my Don't Go To list. Like others I much prefer the smaller shows which allow more time to chat and be generally congenial without resorting to violence when shoved by some six foot, hairy Mungo type character with a Bergen and all the charm and personal hygiene of a troll.
