One advantage of SELWG is that the chlorine smell overcomes the hygiene issue :D
Kensington Town Hall was a nightmare as a demo/trade participant, all those stairs and small rooms. Excel, Partizan and Hammerhead are great from that perspective because you can drive up to the table - easiest set-ups ever :clappy:

I don’t think the Derby show is running any more after the unfortunate venue choice?
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

Having not been now for four years, after pretty much going every year, I can truthfully say I’ve not missed it at all. Unless you are reasonably close or going to spend serious money it’s a pointlessly expensive exercise. It’s overhyped, overcrowded, underlit, hard on the feet and knees, but most of all soulless. Oh, and full of space fairy type games and traders. For historical gamers Partizans are much better all round.
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

Here’s another excellent report on the show, especially on some of the new trade stuff:

I thought the Ann Summers warehouse was all right, personally. Music was a bit cheesey and I got fed up bumping into all those naked washing machine repair men, but otherwise.....
