So long as your opponent knows which ones are real and which ones are just aesthetic I don't see a problem with the people you're likely to be playing.
Try it with any of the uber serious players though and there would be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Mind you as they'd be the ones turning up with a 1st Edition Samurai army made up mainly of characters...you'd probably want to avoid them anyway

Going to be making my own movement trays I think. Can't seem to find ones to suit, I'm sure if I figured out the dark art of Warbases ordering system I could but I can't be arsed. Bit of plasticard or plywood with a lip round it should do.
