Ummm trojan, lack of swords is a slight surprise but no odder than no swords in a hoplite army, the other things are not around. Dendra armour should be heros only, and no evidence of cavalry in trojan or mycenaen armies of the time. Remember you are same time as hittite and nke.
Myrmidons could have been there though.

Re: The Pointy Stick thread
For those wondering, I'm going to be backdating my map of Europia/Byzarbia by about 2000 years, so it will essentially resemble the world roughy 400BC-600AD, into which pretty much any number of mad combinations will fit. So as has been said above, by all means base your army on something historical so that you can use it in 'proper' historical games, but feel free to mix and match stuff from different armies for our 'Hyboria' style imagi-nations campaign, which is basically just an excuse for some entertaining and probably slightly weird duff-ups in a variety of terrain, from the frozen north to the swampy south, with lots of appropriately warm bits in between.
The precious treasures of Byzarbia will no doubt attract plenty of invasions from you lot, which is why I am recruiting hordes to repel all-comers. My progress, by my standards, is phenomenal and I have actually finished one unit!

Thanks Jeremy. I have elephants. And chariots. I fear that we may all have these. Now, elephants _riding_ chariots, that would be a thing...
