TimW you can f*** right off you dirty grass! You said you wouldn't mention it! And yes, you said you had pork pies on Friday, but you never said "tomorrow" at all not even once. If one of us had said "See you Saturday - or Sunday - we'd .. I'd .. have realised.

Peeler, I’m disappointed. Are you telling me you couldn’t smell them half a county over?

No I said I was sure no one else would mention it. I knew they would all be understanding and never mention it again, much..

My friend, I have some experience of the situation in which you now find yourself. One day this will all be forgotten - sadly, not in this life, maybe the next.....or the one after.

You have deepest sympathy.

There's a time and a place for everything. My advice is not to ask Peeler the time or EB the place . . . . .
Why us? Cos we're 'ere lad, nobody else.

So does this now supercede Norm turning up a week early for an Ayton weekend, or can they both be mentioned together?

What a wonderful subsidiary thread this would make to the diary page - those who didn't make it.
