2p or not 2p

Post by Purple »

1p or 2p’s for CoC skirmish basing?
I’ve always been a 1p man myself but do I need more girth?

i'd go for smaller girth - otherwise you'll find problems squeezing up back alleys

If nothing else, one can usually guarantee a superior quality of smut on here. Well done, GM.

2p is strong and *cough* stable.

But 25mm washers from Wilko are cheaper and kill 99% of known germs.

Do they have ribbed edges though, like 10p pieces?

No. you have to pay extra for ribbed ones up your back alley.

I favour Renedra 25mm bases with a 25mm washer underneath. Magnetic, which aids transport and makes for a thicker base.

Renedra all the way. I keep a good stock. Don't like metal bases, I just think they might be a bit harsh on the old grass mat but thats probably me just being over careful.

£2 coins would give you a nice weighty feel!

Whilst 1p pieces offer greater flexibility your playmates may appreciate the extra girth of the 2p which allows the adding of extras to enhance the aesthetic pleasure.

Someone is having a Coc up their back alley and is concerned about girth and ribbing. Hmmmmm. A serious wargame discussion.
