Painting up some old Harlequin/Black Tree archers that I've had for years. I've snipped the wings off the helmets and I'll do them up in muted shades as wood elf style rangers.

How much goo do you end up with?

With bleach none the paint just dissolves into the bleac.

Dettol on the other hand I found very gooey.

Yes very true. Your handy hint comes approximately 10 days too late for me

Cheap unbranded bleach?

I use Tesco full strength bleach - 50p a bottle and there us enough to strip circa 100 - 200 20mm figures.
