Re: Painting batches
Takes me a couple of weeks.
Re: Painting batches
In 6mm I once painted 600 French Napoleonics in one day, with all equipment, facings and appropriate plumes etc...
...of course 15 years ago I could both see and grip!

Re: Painting batches
Shouldn't that be on Purp's true confessions section?
Re: Painting batches
I try to do a unit at a time as well - usually 30-40 10mm, 20-28 15mm or 12-20 28mm infantry or half that number for cavalry or 4-8 15mm vehicles.
I can usually churn out one unit every two days (one unit per day if it's something simple like 10mm Union ACW or 20th Century drabness), unless something gets in the way like having to be at home.

Sorry dear, I forgot it was highlanders, see you tomorrow.
Yes, it's on the news.

Re: Painting batches
I'll paint 15mm stuff a battalion at a time, but since most of my painting nowadays is 28mm, I tend to stick to half a unit - 8 or 12. Except Zulus. Then I do faasands of em.
Why us? Cos we're 'ere lad, nobody else.
Re: Painting batches
Ja, Zulus I do in 24’s as well
Re: Painting batches
I prefer to paint the whole bitch at the same time.
Re: Painting batches
I feel a cross over thread with one of Purp’s Freddy ones
