I used to play D&D with Tom Kirby.
And have never read Featherstone or Grant. So there.

You certainly don't come across as such, but even if you were then so are most wargamers on the planet.

As I've said, I love you all, but out of you all, I love Tim Hall the most of all. 🙂

To my immense shame I don't have the obligatory LAW crush on Alice Roberts or Bethany Hughes.

Alice Roberts and Bethany Hughes and that other blonde frizzy haired one, all together, in a hot tub, with a barrel of beer and a good supply of pies, giving a historical talk on Wargaming. Or anything.

I still think of Alice as a student from the days when her boyfriend was doing an Archaeology degree :) She's just another one on the list of people who have passed through my life and got their own TV Series when obviously i'm the one who truly deserves one

Out of interest Paul, did you ever come across Chris Scull in the archeology world? An old mate of mine at university.

I didn't, which is probably why he doesn't have a TV series :hair:

I was at Winchester Museums Service from 1987-89, then again from 1995-98, Institute of Archaeology/MoLAS from 89-93, Wessex Archaeology from 93-95, Bedford from 98-99 before running my own company from 1999-2005ish. Then had a brief spell for AOC in Edinburgh.

It's fair to say I got around in the Archaeological world :)

Chalk up another one, not bothered about them professionally either.
