Anyone fancy a lucky dip?

Post by tim.w »

If you have a lead pile needing some whittling how about a lucky dip lead exchange, based on the old North Star lucky bags?

Those interested say Aye below, then someone, probably me, puts names in a hat and sends everyone a name to send a parcel too. Everyone receiving one in exchange.

Could be a fun way of getting rid of some of the figures you'll never paint and recieving something you never knew you wanted!?

I’ll only say yes if I’m guaranteed to get LT’s lucky bag.

Wait... that doesn’t read like expected.

Mr W,

You are as mad as a box of frogs! What sort of idiot would willingly volunteer for such a nonsense?

Roughly what sort of value of toys should I put in my lucky dip?

Now that's a fun idea. My lead pile is quite small though . . . . .
Why us? Cos we're 'ere lad, nobody else.

I'd say no more than £20 worth, though value might be subjective. Between 6-12 figures maybe? Should we stick to 28mm too?

No, I think we should keep period open.
