God, the hare looks odd. A sort of Robinson on steroids.
Re: What's on your workbench?
Yes indeed, though it was apparently a very good machine compared to the other choppers of its day (1950s). It was really underpowered compared to later turboshaft-powered machines, though and the Mi-2 'Hoplite' was a FAR better machine. You can really see the design influence for later designs such as the Mi-2 and Mi-8 though - they were definitely direct descendants of this ugly ancestor.

Fast paint Florentine pavisers, slow paint 1st Barons War Knight and the beginnings of a horse horde to make Valleyboy look like a dillitante.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

My usual gaudy tat ticking along.
Some Russian Dragoons. Still three figures left to do to finish the unit but I m having a brown horse pause. Without being horsist, brown horses are dull.
Not correct flag for this unit as nobody does it but nobody will know unless you’re some some of Mid 18th century European battle saddo-boffin...

Deep within the Dark Continent a new Kumbah processing plant is under construction. Sadly, an architect's error means the roof will not go on. The Interim President is not pleased.
The back wall is too high, it should be level with the relief bars. There's a nice breeze outside so I'll fit the circular saw to my Lidl knock off Dremel. This may explain why I got it for 99p plus postage.
Edit. Minor disaster averted, put the sidewalls in the right way round and it all fits.
