My usual gaudy tat ticking along.
Some Russian Dragoons. Still three figures left to do to finish the unit but I m having a brown horse pause. Without being horsist, brown horses are dull.
Not correct flag for this unit as nobody does it but nobody will know unless you’re some some of Mid 18th century European battle saddo-boffin...

Lovely stuff! But are you sure that's the right shade of blue? And I don't know if anyone's mentioned it, but the flag's wrong...

Cracking work going Purps. Don’t listen to all these others. Flags and blue are fine. You did however get the basing colour wrong for the period.

I disagree. That basing colour was definitely used more in the Napoleonic period than SYW. I just wish people would put more effort into their research instead of just banging figures out as quickly as they can.

Everyone knows that you should use a Munsell soil colour chart for matching region and period on your bases. SYW should clearly be a 10YR 6/4 or 5/4 that's more like a 3/3 ………..Scandalous!
