Again lovely stuff.. I'd be curious to know how you did the hoplite basing. Very taken by how you've rendered the soil and rocks.

Cheers HMS. Its my deserty-ish basing.
Ready mixed grout for the base layer
Areas of sand scattered in patches
Painted in a random pattern of Vallejo Orange Brown and Foundry Rawhide (Mid). Base edges in chocolate brown.
Scatter small patches of some small grey ballast type stuff I've got - wash them brown
Drybrush up the whole base - med flesh, buff , buff/white. Make the rocks lighter than the other patches
Add some tufts and dry brush them Japanese uniform yellow
