Finished 12 Chasseur Flankers of the Guard this morning before nipping off to Fiasco.
I have used Alberken/Early Minfigs French Voltigeurs for this unit. I bought these nearly 50 years ago from BMW models in Wimbledon. The last photo shows my how I painted figures as as a youngster.

Wow, there's a name from the past! When I first went there (early 70s) they had given up on Minifigs and were selling Hinchliffe.

Red might make them look a bit French (and who wants that), what about a nice light blue?
