I've given this a lot of thought. Months I've been thinking about it. It's just been 'think, think, think' - constantly. Why doesn't anyone else do proper 20mm? Proper 20mm that is, not those 1/72 giants.

I'll e-mail you.

I still have my 20mm Newline Greeks to start. Just pulled them out from under the bed, there's quite a few.

You're a splendid fellow, Tim, and you and Henry have made my mind up for me. I shall commence painting my 20mm imaginary army for the pointy stick campaign.

Will they be fighting at half effect because they are so tiny and puny?

Excellent news all round. Just confirm to me what you've chosen and I'll get you on the map. Does that mean that you're in as well, Tim?

I'm not sure whats involved so I'll pass. I was just trying to make EB feel better about his 20mm obsession. I'm not sure I'll ever get the Greeks done even, bought them 2nd hand to do Men of Bronze but that has stalled.

So, to sum up, interested participants are:
  • Moi (umpire plus Byzarbian nutter)
    Goat Major (Greek-ey)
    Jeremy (Barbarian)
    Count Belisarius (Roman-ish)
    Essex Boy (Roman-ish)
Levied Troop (Germanic-y and Feudal –– yes, that's two)
Paul (Golden Horde-y wandering terrorising nomadic types)
    Shahbahraz (Roman-ish with barbarian allies/auxiliaries)
That's quite enough to get things rolling over the next few months, but if others are interested in joining in either from the get-go or at a later stage, by all means get in touch. Participants please let me have your army lists (rough at this stage, I'm sure) preferably via email to henry at henryhyde dot co dot uk, together with your postal addresses so that I can send out good, old-fashioned newsletters and information in the post (yes! remember that?)
