That looks good

Pottering along with the personalities and shock marker stuff still...

VB - I have a question for you. Any tips on making the dynamic effects as you did when you modeled the round striking the cavalryman's chest using cat hair? Looking to maybe depict some soil going airborne, tho if I need a filament I'll be going for fishing line as the strand of choice...

I used dog hair and superglue blobs to depict flying blood - the other option is using grass clumps, thin ones like this

Continuing to plug along a few figures at a time. Glad I won't be painting many drummers for SP2. Quite meticulous at this scale...

Really liking the Offensive Miniatures casualty packs, which will really contribute to the overall project in some way or another. Two of the more novel on the go here as well as the rest of my Victrix casualties/shock markers (so far).

Go for the occasional fifer for a bit of variety, or a hornist/bugler for the light infantry bods.

Nice work on these - I particularly like how you've done the wood on the sergeant's pike; too many people overdo the "grain" effect at this scale/size, especially on muskets.

Really liking the red, is that just straight GW Contrast paints? I have Government forces to do for 1745, when the FoW KS delivers, and that might save me a lot of time.
