I tried Saga at the Nottingham club where it did seem very popular but my feeling was similar to Jeremy’s and yes, there did seem to be a couple of ‘super-armies’.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

I'm hoping the rumours of a Punic Saga are true.

First batch of pointy sticks finished! Aventine Velites. Hopefully I'll be returning from Battleground with bags more.

On here, it's more likely to be a Pubic Saga. :wall:

Clearly he needs a Hannibal Lecture.

I'll get me coat....oh, wait, someone's already put it out in the gutter for me.
Is that the 'I love it when a plan comes together' one?

Or the 'I wish the governor would let a few more in on our secret' one.

I've played 1st ed quite abit, but not for a while and the 2nd ed seems to have evened it out abit.....the Jomsvikings were just unbeatable, so was soooo one sided and no fun really!!

I've got a decent sized viking/Saxon force ready, so I'd be up for a game or 2 some time 😀

I'm all tooled up for Saga with the classic Dark Age Saga armies plus Skraelings for that 'American Gods' feel :)

Dusting off my Macedonian Successors. About 2/3 of army 'completed'.
For Henry's campaign, this will be the Successor state of Macadamia (yes, they're all nuts there), ruled by one of Alexander's lesser known General's, Philipolytas 'the Great'. This is rather ironic since he's never done anything noteable at all... Well, there was that one time, but nothing was ever proven and no charges were brought.
