2 small pike blocks, jnit of hypastpists, archers, javelinmen and a unit of companions and one of thessalians. 1500pts is tough to shoehorn macedonians in.

This. My challenge exactly.

I've already exceeded 1500 pts, but want an elephant!! And a third phalanx.
Might swap armies so I can create a sensible 1500 points. Hmmmm...

I'm going 2000pts, it's a more versatile amount :)

Henry mentioned 1500 as a start point was all.

The army will have 3 large pike blocks by the end, along with thracian peltasts, maybe some podromai or greek cavalry and some more heavy hitting cavalry.

I think the hairy barbarians will go to 2000 points without much effort.

I do think the Feudals might be a bit over-powered - I can field Egyptians as an alternative?
I get lockdown, but I get up again.
