Re: Fenris Games
Same here, I looked at their excellent stuff several times at shows and online, but in the end couldn't justify the cost and didn't buy.

I reckon if you wanted small quantities say for figure basing or a diorama, they would have been great, but if I need to tile the roofs on an entire French village for Chain of Command, then it's way out of my price range.. sure, better looking than say the pre-cut roof tiles from Warbases, but not affordable in any realistic quantities I would need.

He did a lot of specialist stuff you couldn’t get elsewhere. His Cthulhu Wars for instance. His terrain was also superb. His sweary dice were the best.

I've got a few of the Cthulhu terrain pieces. Really good stuff. Wish I'd known about the FFSake dice earlier...
Re: Fenris Games
I bought his ‘Fuck Yeah’ and ‘FFS’ dice. He did a limited run and they sold out in less than an hour.HMS Priapus wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 4:40 am I've got a few of the Cthulhu terrain pieces. Really good stuff. Wish I'd known about the FFSake dice earlier...

This - £9.00 for a single A4-sized sheet of roof tiles, or wrinkly tin is just not sustainable. There are railway accessory manufacturers who will do you more for less.Shahbahraz wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 7:23 pm .....but if I need to tile the roofs on an entire French village for Chain of Command, then it's way out of my price range.
Kein Plan überlebt den ersten Kontakt mit den Würfeln. (No plan survives the first contact with the dice.)

At the end of the day it’s the same argument as to whether to buy your steak from ASDA or from your local butcher.
I dare say it’s no different to buying online from Wayland Games or from your LFGS.
It would be sad to see all these little suppliers close and all we are left with is the GW’s and Warlord Games.
