Interesting. I’ve been wondering about my attic. How wide is that table?
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

That’s my old 6x4 table. I’m going to comfortably get a 12’ table in but undecided yet on whether to make it 4 or 4’6 wide. I’m going to wait till I’ve got the shelves etc in to see what feels most comfortable

Short and fat or thin and long, you have to try them all before you find out what fits in comfortably

With the restricted headroom 6ft wide might be pushing it. If you don't use terrain tiles you could try 5ft which is also better for leaning across. Plus a 10x5 seems like the sweetspot.
The room looks like it's going to be great though...remember to have them build plenty of storage.

That’s why I’m going for 4’6 wide probably. Tbh I only ever played on a 6x 4 table previously and never needed the table to be deeper.

Storage absolutely - the under the roof edges are being converted into cupboards and the space on the other side of the doorframe will be painting room, library and general storage
