I'd rather have a nice cup of tea and a fruit sconce

I thought that was your architect's model for your new house in Bury. You should definitely go with the palisade upgrade option too.Jeremy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 10:06 pm The new Warbases Limes Tower. It will pull double duty for our ancients and dark ages games. It really is a lovely little model. Next phase will be to plaster the walls and put a pantile roof on. It will then be surrounded by a palisade.

Surely in Bury, its electrified razor wire and claymore mines.
Re: What's on your workbench?
I don’t know anyone called Shirley in Bury.

They'll let you call them what you want to.
Incidentally, my mate who "visits Bury" just got back from Mexico. He got chased out of a generic massage place for getting his knob out. He just assumes everywhere is a brothel. I worry about his trips to the dentists and GP.
I had a workbench tidy last night. Finished all the Medievals that Simon gave me in the Lucky Dip, except the monk. Now I'm waiting for a nice little delivery from LT of some more. This will be an army entirely foraged from other peoples unwanted piles!

I used to know a bloke who always called them by his wife's name. I guess it helped avoid embarrassing errors at home.
Yes, I was a bit stunned once whilst travelling in Indonesia to discover that the hotel massage room was for ……. massage. Very odd.

What are you using for the pantiles - the special card strips? It's a bit more expensive, but Charlie Foxtrot sells resin pantile roofs for their Peninsula range - I'm sure at least one of the square ones would fit that building.
