Because it is your hobby, and not supposed to feel like work.

It's a displacement activity from job-hunting at the moment. :) Getting really fed up with hopping from contract to contract with the same stress as each one comes to an end. I'm to old for this shit.

Yep.. as they say; the best way to make a small fortune in a hobby business, is to start with a large fortune.... not the position I am in unfortunately. I'm hoping I don't end up hanging round outside Salute with a hand-written sign saying 'will paint minis for food'.

Oh, and thanks to the wonderful Home Office regulations, despite the boss being in a well-paid, permanent job, if I don't earn a minimum 30K p.a. she gets deported.

No comment on home office and immigration matters. Just no comment.

My last foot unit of Highlanders are on the bench almost done. Cavalry next, once they're done I will have bought a whole army in one go more or less and painted it all within 4 months. Pretty pleased with that. Of course, I'm now looking to expand it more.

Let's see piccies then? Is this the Flags of War ones? I bought enough to do a SP2 game, and the latest Kickstarter should arrive any day, but they remain in my shiny metal pile of shame.
