A wee Hielan village
Re: A wee Hielan village
Assuming that you want Heilan coos, then Langley Models have some in their OO/HO (1/76) range, which falls within the ambit of 20mm. http://www.langley-models.co.uk/acatalo ... tc_10.html (F68a) Although I've seen Langley Models in OZ, that was many years ago now, so mail order is your best bet. Alternatively, if you want prepainted https://tencommandmentsmodels.co.uk/pro ... an-coo-oo/

Burning thatch? In the Hielands..?? oh you poor fool.. You'd have to light a big fire to dry it out first. Nice models. I shall have a look at those for my 1745 forces.
(A lot of the roofing should actually be peat, or reed. Which puts me in mind of an old 'Scotland the What' joke..

The first time I've heard it called that. Nice one.

Whenever I use the word wuflu on LinkedIn, I get 3 or 4 chaps looking at my profile: Chinese, white shirt, tie, name and tag in Chinese characters. I like the idea that I am annoying the agents of a communist dictatorship, even in a small way.

Nah, Aussie Chinese are generally really critical of the CCP. Some came to labour in gold mines mid 19th century, but most came post Tiananmen looking for asylum. Harder to find a communist apologist amongst them than amongst the Vietnamese.
