The Canadian chap you're thinking of is Brian Homenick, who runs Vaubanner Graphics in Winnipeg, Manitoba (http://vaubanner.blogspot.co.uk/).
Flag Dude, aka "Rick O'Brien", is an active commercial airline pilot in the USA and a nice chap, but his printed flags are so pixelated, I binned the ones I bought as a trial for my 28mm Russian Napoleonics, in favour of GMB. (Not mentioning the grotesquely oversized finials and cords Rick puts on this flags--probably Front Rank).
Nicest 15mm ACW flags?
Re: Nicest 15mm ACW flags?
I get confused....it's me age.
Vaubanner.......very nice. I don't think I've seen them before.
Flag Dude.......yes, they are very pixelated. They look good from a distance though, well, I think so, but that might be me age as well.

Can’t be harassed to paint them - I dread freehand.
Cheers for the recommendations, gents.

Re: Nicest 15mm ACW flags?
Vaubanner are very nice, I have some of their SYW flags, but don't come with poles or Finials.
Re: Nicest 15mm ACW flags?
What about the Warflag site? They can be resized to suit. I scanned all the GMB ones I bought for my 28mm armies, I’m sure they could be resized if needed.
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

Rudimentary printing capability puts the mockers on that, really.
Like the line-up at Madame Zsa-zsa’s: it’s basic ‘n cheap or expensive & pretty.
I’m inclining towards the latter!
