The whole evening appeared to involved dicing with death. Having got tremendously pissed we ended up in some nightclub place nearby that turned out to be full of dodgy IRA sympathisers.

Plainly, the two times that I have visited the shop there was a brief pause in hostilities. Although the second time, was Concorde's last flight, it buzzed the station as I was leaving.

I used to pop in to Navwar on my way home from work. That eneded when I married and moved house.
A quick purchase often ended up with a half hour chat. Really nice bloke.
