Fiction for wargamers.

Post by FreddBloggs »

We have had a list of wargames books and histories, now you are limited to 3 works of fiction, or fiction series. But these are all books that made me want to get figures out.

Mine are,

Imperial Govenor by George Shipway.
The Gun by CS Forrester (I could fill the list with him I know).
Rider on a White Horse, Rosemary Sutcliffe (again can do a list just of her).

I met Simon Scarrow, when I worked closer with York Libraries they had him over for a talk. It was great, he went into detail about how he researches and creates the stories. Very clever bloke! If I had time to read I'd do all of the above. If I can still see when I retire it's something to look forward to.
