pointy stick advice 28mm greek Cavalry

Post by FreddBloggs »

Any advice on the better options out there, to match my Newline macedonians (not fond of his greeks, dunno why just not).

looked at the Victrix Plastics, Wargames Foundry, any other options to be taken into account.

Especially after Greek Light Cavalry, without shields.

Victrix are huge and I would avoid them given your current project.

Foundry are nice albeit a bit pricier than the Warlord option.

Hmmm if I go for these from Foundry they work out cheaper than warlord for 2 units of 10, as well!

Yeah, I haven't bothered with Victrix for that reason. But then my Numidian cavalry by Crusader are minute, edging toward 20mm. As are the elephant drivers for my 1st corps elephants.

I'd love to do Greeks but leaning to old school pointies. Not til next year though.

I think they're closer in style to the Newlines as well.

I'd love to do a true 25mm Greek army but I think GM has hoovered up all the ones from Ebay.

Are you accusing GM of hanging out on the internet, picking up greeks?
