It's a point of difference - otherwise you would have Barbarian lists like.. warriors.. 1 to many, slingers 0 to many, Chariots, your guess is as good as mine.. fanatics? Whatever...

Caesar did note how the southern British tribes chariots gave him no end of trouble
True in ceasars day, but they were becoming rare from then on.

Same problem with romans though. Legion 1 to many. Auxillery foot, 1 to many, slingers, 1 to many, auxillery cavalry 1 to many.

Again, you can make any Roman force you like with the lists provided. Those available are examples

What I do need are a Medic, an Engineers group
Warlord certainly do a medicus for Early Imperials....

No-one seems to do a capsarius though.

They’ve expanded the range since I last looked, there’s some useful stuff to fill the rest of my gaps :D

Quite an amusing caption, certainly by Warlord standards.

Had a browse and Warlord do all sorts of useful stuff. I'm tempted by a baggage cart.

So, I have enough for a Caesarian and Numidian allies force already. Easily enough for a variety of armies for the Republic once the supplement comes out. Just need to paint them..

My finger has been hoverng over the checkout button each time I've basketed up an EIR force from Aventine because theyre just so lovely.

Roman Civil War? That would work surely?

Freya is due home in a couple of weeks so I'm expecting to get plenty of painting time with a new baby in the house and I'll be going back to work (from home) so it should work out well..

I hope we're having a game of this next year!

Roman Civil War is definitely doable and I seem to remember the lists being included.

The words "rookie" and "error" spring instantly to mind here......

I like the look of the Victrix Auxillary infantry actually.
