Morning/evening gents
Alzheimer's has arrived I'm afraid
I'm looking for some help identifying a set of figures I bought ages ago from Battle Honours
I thought they were Duchy of Warsaw Hussars or Chasseurs but I doubt it now that I'm looking at uniform plates
Any suggestions?

First impression -tall, thin plumes say Russian to me...but I could be wrong, I'm not a Napoleonic uniform expert.

French Chasseur a Cheval officer by the looks of him: lapels on the coat, sheepskin shabraque, covered cross-belt...

Re: Identity Crisis
That was my first thought. More French looking than anything else.In plain English, there's no czapska, more a shako, and he's certainly not wearing a kurtka, there's no plastron, and it looks like a surcoat, He's more a chasseur than a hussar, the shabraque looks French, as do the epaulettes, I couldn't see a sabretache. (See what I did there.)
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.
Re: Identity Crisis
DoW Hussars and Chasseurs don't seem to have worn the czapska.

However the Battle Honours Polish Chasseur don't appear to have sported Plumes:

Perhaps one of those jaw-dropping single Asian women shaved it off?
