Looks like the cast from Monty Python fights the Punes. Is that bloke on the right wearing a coal scuttle.

Brilliantly done and very colourful, I look forward to the forthcoming battle reports. I can't wait to see the terrain you will lay out for these guys and their foes.

The command stand for my Republican Romans, featuring the little known and easily overlooked Consul, Coronus Cunctator...
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

Some Roman cavalry. Aventine Miniatures, LBM shield transfers and Warbases MDF bases 80x50mm. Perhaps Grizz will find something positive to say about these this time.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that one David, most of us are just grateful if Grizz says something "on subject". Love the cavalry, and I like the fact that a couple are wearing Beoetian helmets, nicely historical in this "transitional" period of Roman history.

I think they are all quite wonderful, but roman cavalry always look good. I have never figured out how one actually uses a spear overarm whilst on horseback. A couched lance is one thing, but stabbing forward on a speeding horse seems like an invitation to fall off.
