Excellent stuff LT.
It would be great if they'd referred to themselves as Late Tudors, but it would probably have been a hanging offence!! ;)
Early Imperial Romans, however, would have sounded like they were being much more optimistic.

Yes, my idea was to have two late 16th C forces that would be used as Tudor Rebels and Monarchist forces for various rebellions, but also, with a swap of standard bearers, would provide an English militia and a Spanish Armada landing force.

Apart from a couple of hand-painted efforts the flags are from Flags of War.
