Frankenstein's Cuirassiers

Post by ochoin »

The eternal quest for SYW cavalry in 1/72......

From a suggestion of a smart chap @ Bennos, I acquired boxes of Zvevda's GNW Swedish Dragoons & Nap. Saxon Cuirassiers.

Enter: Dr Frankenstein. Head & legs of the Dragoons, body & horse of the Cuirassiers & *Presto* SYW Austrian cuirassiers.Throw in some carving off of superfluous detail & excess horse flesh.

Three mostly done, nine figures to go.

NB this does NOT get HaT off the hook. This approach is costly, time consuming and not 100% historically accurate.

I'm still hoping for HaT to come to the SYW cavalry party but these will help fill the gap.

How many times do I have to tell you, it's pronounced Fran-ken-steen!

Nicely chopped & stitched. I'd have lost fingers trying that, well done Donald.
