My painting table is a mess at the best of times but it does have a nice view out of the window.

And the rain is obscuring the view from mine.

It is the sort of view that makes one think that god is an Englishman. Only England (and Normandy, but that's really just southern England) looks like that.

Apart from parts of Australia in Country Victoria & Tasmania, parts of Ireland, Eastern USA, Southern and Eastern Scotland, and probably quite a few other places round the world.

No, England is different from all those.

Hmm scattered deciduous trees, rolling green sward, stone buildings, etc. etc. Add in NZ to that list.

Nope, it takes centuries of cultivation to achieve that look. SW Aus, NZ, South Central Chile, just don't have that look.

Actually its Yorkshire, AKA Gods own County, and therefore unique - or so I am told.

It's a view that It looks much like parts of Essex, only smaller.
