Charles S Grant books

Post by ochoin »

I have a few of the Wargames in History & would like to get others + the Refighting History books but the price new is a bit prohibitive.

Anyone wants to clear out a book shelf?

Yep. Some titles......and all of $2 cheaper than brand new.

Yeah, their algorithms are weird. They wanted $250 for some ships books and yet I got others for a few bucks. Good luck, they are so good that I can't imagine anyone parting with them.

True. Thought it worth an enquiry, though.

My goodness, I just went and looked, and those prices are eye-watering. Wonder if Charles has any unsold stock? :)
Wargames dreams never die, they just get left in a box.

They are very good, beautifully printed & with a niche market. I certainly understand the prices being charged & will probably soon spend about $180 to buy two books + delivery....if I can't find a second hand deal.

The one to be careful of is Volume 9 of Wargaming in History as the binding is a bit naff and the pages fall out rather easily. On the bonus though Charles used some of my photos of Lobositz and Kolin.

Seriously, the photos in the books are very nice & if some of the figures are yours, I am frankly full of congratulations.
